Final day in Sydney and my flight was only at 9pm so I checked out of the hotel dumped my luggage in storage and had my last taste of Sydney…literally!! 🙂
Aly said I HAD to check out the Sydney Fish Market!! I didn’t wanna disappoint her…and I was hungry!
You can’t visit Sydney without going to Bondi Beach, it just wouldn’t be right!
So what if it was a chilly 19 degrees celsius day? It was Bondi or bust!!
Big tnx to Aly for suggesting the Coastal Walk. The view was spectacularly enjoyable, even with the freezing winds causing shrinkage to all of my appendages. All of them!
I had only one objective on this day. I was going to swim with sharks.
Ocean World at Manly Beach allowed people to swim with sharks and I was gonna be one of em!
A crowded ferry, an expensive lunch and 3 Dutch girls later…I was disappointed.
So I thought I’d watch the Chinese New Year Parade to make myself feel better. And I did 🙂
This was the hottest day of my trip. It was a scorching 42 degrees Celsius!! It turned out to be Sydney’s hottest day in years!!
And this is the day that my friends living in Sydney decided to bring me to the zoo (which apparently has an excellent wildlife conservation program).
I think they just wanted to see me suffer. Tnx guys.
I drank close to 6 litres of water that day. Just looking at these pictures makes me sweat.
